I don't often see places that let you adjust the sugar level for brown sugar drinks so I was super happy. it wasn't too sweet, which I prefer! I would definitely come back here and try the other drinks like the Coffee Milk tea. Service was so friendly and patient. Note, this is not a sit down place but more of a grab and go! ”

“ Favorite bubble tea in Astoria. Love Tea and Milk. Came here on my walk and always like to stop by. I usually go with the classic black milk tea with bubbles or the matcha latte, but I would be interested to try others ones like the Mango Matcha or some of the speciality drinks. Drinks are made fresh. Always refreshing and delicious. Signature cream is rich and indulgent. Service is really nice and friendly. They've got a Yelp Elite event coming up for Lunar New Year and have the outdoor all decorated really cute, so I'll be definitely be going back for that. I even got a cute free gift with my drink tonight. Only downside is there is no indoor seating. I would totally love to stay and have a sit in bubble tea moment, but it's only pick up window style and a bench on the sidewalk. So, I can't stay long because if I do stay outside and have my drink, need a bathroom! It's otherwise a really cute, good bubble tea place in the neighborhood. It's on a nice, quiet street, off the main bustle of Broadway, so it's a pleasant walk there. Good drinks, nice service. My kind of happy hour. Haven't tried their banh mi sandwiches or food, but I'm sure they're great, too. ”

“ Update: management was really apologetic about the situation and made it right during my visit today, which was beyond appreciated. As stated before, i never had a bad experience here prior. My tea today was delicious, i usually stick to the same two teas, but today tried the mango matcha and it was really good. Ill be back to taste some of the other teas. My absolute fav is the lavender black and roasted oolong with signature cream. I will be back to try the mango lassi next. Thanks tea and milk :)!! Previous post: ok usually i love this place and i have supported this place for many years. I love their teas and i have even carried friends and family here because I've never had a bad experience until 1/22 and 1/24. I received a birthday coupon in my email which had 2 offers. A free boba and 20%. On 1/22 showed the cashier the coupon who was clearly on her phone not paying attention to the verbiage on the email and told her i would like the free boba. She told me to put in my number and it pulled up 20% off. I kept showing her the email and she refused to look because she was too busy on her phone, but still gave me the free drink. Today on 1/24 i came back to claim the 20% off and it was the same cashier. I told her i never claimed the 20% off that day , and that i got the free drink. She said "its either or" i said no its not look at the email. Instead of looking or trying to make it right, she didn't look and just said you claimed the 20% already. I just paid for it and left. Please train your employees to pay attention and not constantly be on their phone when serving customers. Not only that, i told her NO boba and she gave me boba and there is barely any tea in my drink. I attached the email for reference. I never had any horrible tea from this place but today this tea was just pure water with no tea. Most likely because she wanted to rush to get back to her phone. ”

“ The banh mi sandwiches here are delicious. There's the classic cold cut, barbecue pork, chicken, and supreme. I'm a fan of the barbecue pork. The portions of each ingredients is perfect and the crunchy yet light and fluffy bun is fantastic too. Highly recommend. I've heard great things about their boba drinks and can't wait to return to try. This isn't a sit down place. You order at the stall and pick up to go. ”

“ Tea and Milk is a wonderful find. I'd been to a few of their Yelp events but recently stopped by on my own and enjoyed an Astoria drink. It's rose tea with passionfruit pulp; I added boba so it ended up being $7.50 without tax. For this tea, you can't customize the sugar level but I was relieved it wasn't too saccharine. It was delicious and refreshing! Perfect after having lunch nearby. I love how real fruit pulp is used in this drink. The Happy drink is similar but you get to pick out two fruit purées.  Tea and Milk doesn't have any indoor seating (you order and pick up from a window), and they recently closed their outdoor seating shed for the season, but there was a bench or two for people to sit and sip.  If you aren't in Astoria, Tea and Milk has locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and even Citi Field this past baseball season.  In addition to other teas, I want to try their banh mi sandwiches sometime. Oooh, they also have pastéis de nata on the menu. ”

I ordered my Medium Roasted Oolong Tea with Signature Cream with less ice and 50% sugar, but it tasted like there was basically no sugar in it. Nevertheless, there was a perfect balance of cream and tea! The service was fairly quick as there wasn't a line. ”

“ I wish Tea and Milk had a location a little closer to me but I'll still take a drive here for some delicious banh mi's and bubble tea/coffee for my family and I. Fan favorite is the Brown Sugar Matcha with 50% sugar and boba. The boba balls are so soft and chewy and not a strong sweet taste which is my favorite. My husband enjoyed his Coffee with herbal jelly no sugar. I love the decor of the outdoor dining they have with the flowers hanging from above and the open space. Service was great every time we come visit and friendly service! That's a plus for us. ”

“ Supreme Banh Mi: I really enjoyed the supreme banh mi! The tangy, crunchy veggies paired perfectly with the extremely flavorful BBQ pork. The meat is grilled to perfect caramelization, savory and sweet with charred ends. The bread has a crunchy outside and is easy to bite into, not overly chewy. Egg Tart: The egg tart is really flaky with a milky center that's great for dessert. Taro Milk with Coconut Milk: The boba is rich with brown sugar flavor, and the taro milk is smooth, like a yogurt-like slush with a very unique texture. You can taste the earthy and nutty taro flavor. Coffee: The coffee is full-bodied, rich, and deep. Mango Lassi: The mango lassi is smooth with refreshing mango puree. ”
